Born in Eckernförde on March 4th 1976, Marion Pflamm was raised in a posh area of Kiel
– a charming, international harbor town and capital of Schleswig-Holstein.
She developed a passion for writing at an early age and thus she always had her ways to
entertain the people around her. At the age of 23, after going through a rough part in her life and picking herself
back up, she worked with her experiences and wrote her first solo project SAILOR.
Soon after, she nearly landed a big hit, developing a brand new concept of documentaries,
with her Russian colleague Daria Karpova.
They met through their mutual love for filmmaking and the interest in British
acting legend Malcolm McDowell. They both teamed up and wrote A magnificent cinematic biography on him and got Mr. Frederick
Mikkelsen of Digital Sprocket, L.L.C. interested.
With the approval and positive comment of mentor David Sherwin, british screenwriter
(If, O lucky Man, Britannia Hospital) and good friend of McDowell, they nearly went into production stage. However, due to
respecting Mr. McDowell’s wish for privacy, the project had to be laid on ice.
Miss Pflamm proceeded working for famous director, composer, producer Mr. Buddy Bregman, who discovered her after reading her drama script DO YOU BELIEVE IN HEAVEN . She was hired to write a mini TV series called EURO CENTRAL, coming as a spin-off from a film he developed.
Since then, Marion Pflamm finished five scripts: two dramas, a romantic love story, a
comedy and a family film.
Together with her new writing partner Daniel Djurin-Markovich, she's finished three further
screenplays: a horror flick, a gangster comedy with martial arts elements and a suspense/action script.
She is now working on two German projects - a comedy series with 12 episodes and another romantic
feature film.
She is represented by Lucy Mattas at the MTA Talent Agency and by Alex Sullivan of the Leo
Film and Books agency.
